Colorescience Pro Sun Protection Giveaway

Happy Monday Everyone! Let’s kick of this week with a great giveaway. Today’s giveaway is for a Colorescience Sunforgettable Mineral Powder Sun Protection SPF 30, your choice of color. You will hear us talk about reapplying sunscreen to get the best sun protection but as women it is tough to reapply sunscreen later in the day after you have make-up on. A great option for reapplication is the Colorescience Powder Sun Protection. You can put it on right over your make-up any time of the day.

Description from Colorescience website: Sunforgettable SPF 50 is a lightweight mineral powder with a barely there feel that provides a safe, non-irritating, instant UVA and UVB sun protection. The self-dispensing powder brush makes this sheer formula easy to apply and reapply throughout the day. This giveaway is a $50 value.

To enter giveaway just leave a comment telling us you are going to do this summer to stay sun safe.

Giveaway ends Thursday, June 23rd at midnight PST. Winner is chosen randomly and will be announced Friday, June 24st. Good Luck!

I’m going to remember to put sunscreen on even if I’m just driving in the car. And I know I need to get a sunhat I’ll actually wear!

  2. Shelley says:

Being a fair-skinned redhead, I apply sunscreen every day and avoid going out into direct sunlight in the afternoon. I also wear sunglasses to protect my eyes and make sure I reapply sunscreen to the tops of my hands several times a day because I wash my hands frequently.

  3. I am. and I will keep using my moisterizer with spf 30 every morning. I will also continue using my body moisterizer with spf 15. and if I go to the beach I will use my spf 75,(and reapply it ) a hat and glasses.
No plans on getting a tan !!

I apply SPF 50 to my face every day. I reapply it if I am outside as well as on my body. I plan to wear a hat and sunglasses as well when I am at the pool or the beach!

I apply SPF 20 mineral tint and use SPF 15 mineral power every morning. I always wear a hat and glasses when by the pool or at the river. I am very bad about applying sunscreen on my body on a daily basis, which I plan on improving on. Airbrush tanning is an excellent way to get a tan with out the damage of the sun!

  6. Amber Verdi says:

MelaShade daily, LARGE sunhat, and SPF 15 body lotion. AND my kids get lubed up with 50 every morning whether or not we are having a fun in the sun day. Never to young to start!

i will use sunscreen even if i dont plan going outside the whole day. Even making a quick stop to the grocery that sun is shinnng bright and my skin recieves it . even 5 min makes a diffrence in my fair skin . even on those days were the sun in hidding above the clouds i have my sun screen on.

  8. I am extremely sensitive to the sun and always wear sunscreen – but, am I sure it it the best?? That is where I need some guidance. I also want to get rid of sun damage from the past. Help!

  9. Cathleen Simonson says:

Listen up young girls who think tannin makes you look more healthy. I am 57 years old and barely used sunscreen until I was 30. From that moment on I used it religiously when I went out in the sun. However, that still wasn’t enough to stop the daily sun damage even through the car window or the brown spots popping up everywhere. Today I use it everyday, on every part of my body. Don’t forget the hands and the back of your neck!

I’m a “hat-a-holic” always in search of the perfect hat to protect my face from the sun that’s not goofy looking and this is it. I use it for the beach and am able to lean back and read in my chair without bending the brim. The brim stays put but is flexible to pack away and also withstand the wind. I also am able to put my hair up in the top without it making the brim too tight and without having a huge lump on top of my head. I plan to buy another in black to match my black bathing suits. I’m 45 and everyone says I look 35 and I attribute that to wearing hats in the sun for gardening, the beach, the lake or ANYTHING outdoors. You will love this hat – I promise!!!
